Manatec CTIS with TPMS inside is world's first development of CTIS coupled with benefits of TPMS. In traditional CTIS without TPMS, the Tyre pressure of each tyre is measured once in 10 minutes (or as per the requirement of customer) by operating solenoids. However in Manatec CTIS + TPMS inside, the TPMS sensors inside the Tyres transmit live pressure of tyres at all times. Hence there is no need to operate the solenoids compulsorily every 10 minutes to measure pressure. Inflation or deflation happens ONLY when there is deviation in recommended settings. This saves compressed air usage considerably. Air is used only when needed and cuts off automatically upon reaching recommended settings. The Electro Pneumatic Control Hub (EPCH) also operates only on need to use basis thus prolonging the life of internal solenoid parts. CTIS+TPMS prolongs life of compressor, EPCH and other parts thus saving on service and replacement costs.

Driver Control Unit (DCU)

The Driver Control Unit (DCU) is the control center of CTIS. It is from here, the driver selects the terrain and load settings and inflates or deflates tyres. The DCU displays tyre pressure of all tyres sequentially (live if TPMS is installed) and receives various alerts and indications regarding CTIS parameters.

Electro Pneumatic Control Hub (EPCH)

The Electro Pneumatic Control Hub (EPCH) is located in the center of the vehicle axle and acts as the hub. It is a micro processor based unit that regulates air pressure in all Tyres, as per driver's commands through DCU.
